At Up Driver Training, we offer professional manual and automatic driving lessons across our training areas, using a fleet of modern training vehicles.
Most of our learners choose 90-minute lessons, giving enough time to settle into the session, work towards meaningful goals and gain plenty of practical driving experience.
Lesson Prices
1 Hour — £42 Manual / £44 Automatic
Ideal for shorter or more focused sessions.
90 Minutes — £60 Manual / £62 Automatic
Our most popular option. The session length we recommend for most learners.
2 Hours — £78 Manual / £80 Automatic
Useful for longer journeys, more involved training or learners who want additional driving time.
Regular or Flexible Lessons
Learning to drive needs to fit around real life. Many of our learners have a regular weekly lesson at the same time, providing consistency and helping maintain momentum.
Where availability allows, we can also offer flexible lesson times for learners whose work, college or other commitments make a fixed weekly slot difficult.
Want to Learn More Intensively?
You don’t necessarily need to buy a pre-designed intensive course.
If you’d like to learn over a shorter period, we can work with you to build your own intensive programme, based around your current ability, availability and goals.
That might mean several longer sessions each week, additional training approaching your test, or simply increasing your lesson frequency when it suits you.

Up Driver Training provides professional driving lessons across St Helens and the surrounding areas, with both manual and automatic tuition available depending on location.
Our instructors work across a growing part of the North West, supporting learners with driving experience in a wide variety of environments — from quieter residential roads through to busy town centres, rural roads, dual carriageways and more complex junctions.
Our learners may take their practical driving test at several local test centres, including St Helens, Warrington, Bolton and Atherton, depending on where they live, their instructor and test availability.
